Ingredients:
- 1 and 1/2 cups (200 gm) maida
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) melted butter
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 + 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup (165 gm) granulated sugar
- 1 and 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- 100gm Mango powder
Directions:
- Sieve maida, baking powder and soda together; keep aside.
- Whisk eggs lightly.
- Add sugar until it dissolves in the beaten eggs.
- Mix in melted butter and vanilla essence.
- Add mango powder in parts to make mixing easier and smoother.
- Mix in dry ingredients in 3 parts. Add 2-3 tsp milk with every part while mixing to help combine well.
- Beat well till creamy and thick.
- Grease tray and cover with baking sheet.
- Pour the batter on tray and spread evenly.
- Wet your palms and dab it gently across the surface of the cake batter.
- Bake in preheated oven - for 12 minutes at 175 degrees.
- Cool down and cut.
