Our reason for existing is simple - to make dehydrated Alphonso Mango products so pure, that no one is ever denied the taste of this magnificent fruit, any time of the year.
Purios was born when Prasad Dabke, mechanical engineer and lean management expert, set out to do something in his village in Ratnagiri. And when it comes to Ratnagiri, the first and the best idea that comes to mind is the Alphonso Mango, or locally known as the Hapus. He began experimenting with a myriad of technologies to dehydrate this tricky fruit, eventually developing and perfecting his own GTM Drying™ technology that not only made the ever-loved Alphonso Mango a year long phenomenon, but also available globally.
So, while our in-house innovator focused on creating a never-seen-before range of mango products, Prakruto’s artist & chef cofounder Madhu created a never ending list of applications through experiments in her lab – the kitchen. Madhushree’s mission is to create new products, and recipes that perfectly use them to help everyone get a chance to experience the true taste of the King of Mangoes.
