Ingredients:
- 1 cup (250ml) whipping cream
- 1 cup (250g) mascarpone, softened
- 100g Mango Powder
- 30g granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1&1/2 cups orange juice (cooled)
- 30-35 ladyfingers
- 2 tbsp mango powder (for dusting on top)
Directions:
- Whisk cream.
- Add sugar and vanilla essence and whisk again.
- Whisk in softened mascarpone cheese till combined evenly.
- Make a puree out of the mango powder by adding water. Powder : Water ratio = 1 : 3
- Whisk until combined to give a consistent mango yellow colour.
- Prepare orange juice mixture. You can use store bought juice as well. Pour in a wide dish and add the juice of half a lemon to it.
- Dip the lady finger biscuits in orange juice mixture.
- Start layering: Starting with orange-dipped biscuits, followed by mango cream. Repeat until the ingredients are over, or your tray is full :)
- Refrigerate and chill overnight.
- Dust Mangomisu with mango powder (use a sieve for an even spread)
- Cut into the Mangomisu in sizes of choice.
- Serve and consume immediately!
